About Hamrick's Bookkeeping LLC
Hi, I’m Kelly Hamrick, a bookkeeper who truly loves numbers and helping businesses work better.
I grew up in Michigan and spent years moving around before settling in Summerville, South Carolina, near North Charleston. Life as a Navy spouse has taught me adaptability, organization, and the importance of having solid systems in place—skills I now bring to my bookkeeping work.
Before becoming a bookkeeper, I worked as a math teacher, which is where my love for numbers and problem-solving really grew. I enjoy understanding how things work, finding patterns, and creating clear, efficient systems—especially when it comes to finances. Bookkeeping became the perfect way to combine my analytical mindset with my desire to help others succeed.
When I’m not working with numbers, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband and our two kids, exploring local parks, enjoying the beach, or diving into creative hobbies like crocheting, sewing, and baking. I also love yoga, fitness, and attending plays whenever I can.
I’m passionate about helping small business owners feel confident, organized, and in control of their finances, so they can focus on what they do best. I enjoy helping business owners not only keep their books organized but also understand what their numbers mean so they can make confident decisions in their business.
